I work with our food innovation teams at the fascinating interface between research and business, acting as a conduit between the science and our customer’s bespoke needs. I started my career in biosecurity after completing a BSc in Genetics and moved into trade policy following Postgraduate study in International Business. I spent several years working throughout Asia including a stint living in China focused on market access for New Zealand’s primary industry exports. I’m passionate about value-added primary products and consumer value propositions backed by science. I’ve worked closely alongside many of New Zealand’s top exporting food and beverage companies and continue to follow global developments in food technology with great interest.
