Senior Scientist

I'm a Senior Scientist within the Food Materials & Structure Team, based out of our Lincoln site. I focus on working with new materials and technologies to better understand and improve food and non-food bio-based substances from a materials perspective. My current research interests include cell foods and the production of food using cellular horticulture, as well as the areas of 3D food (& other bio-based materials) printing, application of technologies like electrospinning and encapsulation, and total utilisation of bio-based materials. I enjoy collaborating with teams across NZ and solving new and interesting problems.
