My role is all about helping the team in beekeeping – from laboratory research to fieldwork. I am also a PhD student in Biological Sciences via the Joint Graduate School with the University of Auckland. My PhD project focuses on the effects of pesticides on solitary ground-nesting bees. Before coming to New Zealand from Borneo, I worked in the agriculture sector focusing on stingless bee beekeeping, and insect pest management of tropical fruits, vegetables, tree crops, and paddy.
