I am an evolutionary and behavioural ecologist with a speciality in chemical ecology, and graduated with degrees from universities in Canada, France and Switzerland. I am passionate about the interactions between organisms (plant-insects-microbes) and eavesdropping on their communication in order to design naturally-based ecological pest management solutions. Combining tools of analytical chemistry with electrophysiology and behavioural assays, I work in a team to identify bioactive volatile compounds that can be developed into lures for pest management and surveillance, or new sensors.
