Justine Daw
Director
Justine has held executive leadership and governance roles in the environmental, science and public policy spheres. As a former career diplomat, she worked internationally on sustainable development, trade and the environment. With a focus on strategy, evidence-based decision-making and investment, Justine has held senior roles at the NZ Climate Change Office, the Ministry for the Environment, FoRST, Manaaki Whenua and GNS Science. Previously Deputy Chair for the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF-NZ) and on the board of Reconnecting Northland, Justine currently sits on an national Advisory Group for Community Sector Research. Now based in Northland, Justine heads up KMR, a collaboration between the Crown, iwi and regional councils to restore the Kaipara Moana, the largest harbour in the Southern hemisphere.
