As an IP advisor I have the privilege of working with a significant proportion of the organisation, providing advice on recognising, generating and protecting intellectual property for Plant & Food Research, and working to ensure our scientists have freedom to operate. I am a registered New Zealand/Australia Patent attorney and have a PhD in material science. I have been involved with the commercialisation of scientific endeavour for over 25 years and it is always thrilling to see ideas move from the bench top out into the real world.
