Kia ora, I am a molecular biologist and biochemist. My research focuses on understanding the genes responsible for the fruit and crop flavour. I am currently working on flavour genes for kiwifruit, apple and hops. The things I like most about Plant & Food Research are the friendly people and the chance to taste so much interesting fruit.
